Foot/ Mercato:  Will the signing of Mohamed Salah in Saudi Arabia be postponed?

Saudi Arabia is closely monitoring Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian forward from Liverpool, but the “Reds” fans can be reassured.

Saudi Arabia has a special interest in Salah, as they seek a new star following Neymar’s transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Al-Hilal.

Throughout this transfer window, the Saudis have been making significant moves, signing players such as Benzema, Kanté, Mahrez, Mané, Firmino, Henderson, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

A new revelation has surfaced, albeit taking some time to materialize.

Indeed, it’s true that Saudi Arabia is planning to make a move to recruit Mohamed Salah, the 31-year-old winger from Liverpool, by the summer of 2024.

However, this won’t happen during this summer. Two clubs that seem particularly interested are Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal.

It’s worth noting that this operation will be carried out by the Saudi Public Investment Fund, which owns Newcastle in the Premier League. The Saudis have prepared a list for the upcoming transfer market, featuring names like Son and Lewandowski.
