Burkina Faso: Dr. Ousmane Bougouma and Mrs. Olivia Rouamba attend President Erdogan’s inauguration on behalf of their country.

Dr. Ousmane Bougouma, the President of the Transitional Legislative Assembly, who attended President Erdogan’s inauguration last Saturday alongside the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Olivia Rouamba, praised it as an important milestone for Turkish-Burkinabe relations.

«This inauguration event, a significant point in Turkish political history, is a must-attend for our country. In recent years, the country of Atatürk has emerged as one of the most important strategic partners for the land of the upright people in reclaiming its territory and asserting its sovereignty», stated Dr. Ousmane Bougouma in Ankara.

It is worth noting that Burkina Faso recently acquired military equipment from the Republic of Turkey, which has enabled it to inflict heavy losses on the armed terrorist groups that have been attacking the country for the past eight years.

The President of the Transitional Legislative Assembly of Burkina Faso, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olivia Rouamba, had just participated in  President Erdogan’s inauguration. The Turkish president was re-elected on May 28, 2023.

President Erdogan is committed to faithfully achieve the goals of his «Century of Turkey» vision.

«Over the next five years, we will continue to work diligently to implement this vision», wrote the 12th Turkish President in the guestbook of the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Mausoleum, the founder of the Republic of Turkey.
