Burkina Faso / Celebration of excellence: The nation honours its sons and daughters

On the occasion of Burkina Faso’s Independence Day commemoration, His Excellency Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of Faso, Head of State, and Grand Master of Burkinabe Orders, presided over the 2025 national awards ceremony this Wednesday.

The solemn ceremony honored nearly 400 recipients recognized for courage and dedication across various sectors of Burkinabe society.

Decorations were conferred in the Order of the Stallion and the Order of Burkinabe Merit, highlighting the importance of personal commitment to national development.

President Traoré commended the recipients for their abnegation and sense of duty, noting they represent the soul and diversity of Burkina Faso.

Their relentless work, he emphasized, sets an example of determination for future generations.

The ceremony stands as a symbol of national recognition, underscoring the role of unity and solidarity in the nation’s development.
