Burkina Faso: the combat forces seriously defeated the terrorists once again.
According to security sources, the combat forces have inflicted heavy losses on the enemy and recovered a significant amount of combat equipment in several localities of Burkina Faso, as reported by the AIB on Friday April,14th 2023.
In recent days, the Defense and Security Forces (FDS in French) and Volunteer Defense Forces (VDP) have conducted multiple ground and aerial operations, confronting terrorists across several localities in the country.
In the Central-East region in Ouargaye, regular combat forces neutralized about ten terrorists
In the Eastern region, specifically in Matiacoali and Foutouri, the combat forces gained the upper hand over the enemy, not excepting Ouahigouya (near Aorema) and Loroum.
During the fighting, the regular troops killed several dozen terrorists, according to security sources.
The Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and Volunteer Defense Forces (VDP) also seized motorcycles, weapons, radio stations, and other logistical means belonging to the terrorists.
Aerial and ground operations continue in several other localities to enable the country of Burkina Faso to recover its territorial integrity and restore peace.
The message from military authorities remains the same, urging those who have joined terrorist armed groups and wish to save their lives to surrender their weapons.
