Mali / Social work: Army General Assimi GOÏTA lends his support to vulnerable groups

The President of the Transition, General Assimi GOÏTA, continues his commitment to supporting vulnerable communities through various social initiatives. Following assistance provided to 200 beneficiaries in Bamako’s communes 5 and 6, his social outreach team extended its efforts to commune 4.

On Wednesday, the team visited the Chaba field in Lafiabougou, accompanied by local authorities. Mr. Aguibou Dembele, the President’s special advisor in charge of social initiatives, distributed food packages to 200 vulnerable individuals from the area.

This act is a reflection of President GOÏTA’s ongoing dedication to improving the living conditions of the most disadvantaged segments of society.

Both beneficiaries and local officials expressed their gratitude for the President’s continuous efforts to address the needs of the people.

The distribution event is part of the 29th edition of the Solidarity Month and the fight against exclusion, a cause dear to the head of state.

Through these humanitarian gestures, President GOÏTA reaffirms his vision of building a more inclusive and supportive Mali, ensuring that even the most vulnerable citizens receive the help they need to enhance their lives.
