Niger : When France uses one of its instruments of alienation and servitude to satisfy a vengeance
The authorities of the Nigerien transition announced the suspension of all forms of cooperation with the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) in a statement released on December 24.This decision follows an announcement made on December 19, 20230 , by the Permanent Council of La Francophonie (CPF), to suspend Niger from all instances of the organization following the coup d’état on July 26 against the regime of Bazoum Mohamed.
Francophonie has become an instrument that France uses to subjugate its former colonies, exploiting them on various fronts : political, economic, social, and intellectual. Believing itself still in a position of strength to impose its dictates, France, through the OIF, allowed the suspension of Niger from all instances of the organization. So much the better.
In a tit-for-tat response, the authorities of Niger have made it clear to France and its imperialistic satellite entities that Niger now stands in a different position where Francophonie, unfortunately, no longer has a place. « Through this suspension, the organization discredits itself and only confirms that Francophonie has always been used by France as a tool to defend French interests and, above all, to advance its agenda in Africa ».
It is worth recalling that Francophonie, once an instrument for promoting certain values among states, has now become an empty shell, with the exception of servitude and impoverishment of Francophone countries.
