Sport: Boxing mourns the death of Ardi Ndembo, an exceptional Congolese boxer

The world of boxing mourns the sudden loss of the talented Congolese boxer Ardi Ndembo, who tragically passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, in Miami, United States.

His body currently rests at the morgue of Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was transported after a brutal knockout suffered during a Team Combat League fight against Nestor Santana on April 5th.

What should have been a career-boosting fight on the international stage turned into a tragedy when Ndembo was severely injured by his opponent. Despite intensive care from doctors, he could not recover from his injuries and passed away 21 days later.
