Burkina Faso: Terrorists destroyed in the destruction of their bases in eastern and sahel regions
With the provision of new war equipment to the army, granting a certain superiority to the fighting forces, terrorists groups no longer have respite. They are relentlessly tracked, pursued to their last refuge, eliminated in dozens, their bases bombed, and their logistics destroyed or seized.
According to the Burkina Faso News Agency (AIB) informed by security sources, terrorist bases in the regions of the East and Sahel did not escape the radar of the air force. After localization, aerial vectors took action on Saturday, February 3.
According to the AIB, it all started with an attack on the locality of Boungou (a village located a few kilometers from Tawori, in the East region) by a large number of assailants. The swift and courageous intervention of the fighting forces repelled the attack and routed the wrongdoers.
Called in for reinforcements, aerial vectors followed the assailants to their base located about fifteen kilometers from the attacked village. Without mercy, combat helicopters carried out intensive bombings on this den of criminals until it was completely reduced to ashes with its occupants and their equipment.
On the same Saturday, patriotic fighters carried out a successful operation in the Sahel region, after overcoming an ambush set by terrorists in the Falagountou area.
In a prompt counterattack and with their bravery, the military dispersed the terrorists who fled southward. Aerial vectors followed them to their base in the midst of dense trees. Unaware that they were being watched, the enemies gathered to assess their debacle. But this meeting would be their last, as a missile dropped from the air would come to strike and exterminate them. Operations for territorial reconquest are underway in several regions of the country.
