CAN 2023 : Favours Given to CAF Staff and Selected Partners in Côte D’Ivoire

Ivory Coast will host the 34th Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2023) from January 13 to February 11. The preparations are well underway, and all stakeholders are mobilizing to ensure that this African football event takes place under optimal conditions.

The Ivorian government is also extending certain privileges to participants in this competition, aiming to alleviate some burdens and enable them to fully engage and experience the CAN. This includes the officials of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the organizing body of this African football competition.

In a public service announcement released on Saturday, January 6, 2024, Ivorian authorities have informed the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and some of its partners, whose significance for the African football event is acknowledged, that they are exempt from visa requirements.
