End of German adventure for Fabio Carvalho: Midfielder Joins Hull City on loan

The German chapter closes for Fabio Carvalho. After being loaned to RB Leipzig last summer, the 21-year-old Portuguese attacking midfielder didn’t get the expected playing time, accumulating only 360 minutes in 15 appearances across all competitions, with just 3 as a starter.

Following his return to Liverpool this winter, the Portuguese U21 international (4 caps, 2 goals) Fabio Carvalho  embarks on a new journey with a six-month loan to Hull City, currently sitting in 7th place in the Championship.

«The 21-year-old will spend the remainder of the season in the Championship with Liam Rosenior’s team. Carvalho returned to Liverpool last month after a temporary spell in Germany with RB Leipzig, where he made 15 appearances during the first half of the 2023-24 season. Hull, who also loaned Tyler Morton to Liverpool this season, currently occupies the seventh position in the Championship and will host Norwich City on Friday night», reads the statement from the Reds.

Hull City, currently positioned seventh in the Championship standings, has been an active participant in the loan market, having also facilitated the loan of Tyler Morton to Liverpool this season.

Their next fixture is set against Norwich City on Friday night.
