China and Mali enhance educational and agricultural Cooperation

Foreign Minister of China , Wang Yi, engaged in discussions with his Malian counterpart, Abdoulaye Diop, on Friday, reaffirming China’s commitment to bolstering collaboration with Mali across various sectors, including education, training, medical care, and agriculture.

Minister Wang underscored the enduring friendship between his country and Mali, shaped by past generations of leaders from both nations.

 He assured the audience that China respects Mali’s independent choices and refrains from interfering in the internal affairs of other countries.

Minister Wang expressed confidence in Mali’s ability to surmount temporary challenges and achieve independent national development and progress.

China is eager to fortify collaboration with Mali, pledging mutual support, joint protection of the legitimate rights and interests of developing nations, and upholding the fundamental norms governing international relations, added Minister Wang.

Both ministers emphasized the longstanding friendship between their two countries, highlighting shared positions on fundamental principles.

Minister Diop characterized China as a friend and reliable partner, expressing Mali’s adherence to the One-China principle.

 He also expressed a desire to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation and draw inspiration from China’s successful development experience.
