Cristiano Ronaldo files a lawsuit against Juventus!

A news report highlights the financial challenges Juventus is facing and the ongoing tensions between former players and the club’s management. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to sue Juventus for unpaid wages.

Indeed, the Portuguese football legend is aiming to retrieve the €19.9 million that was owed to him by the Italian club when he agreed to defer a portion of his salary during the initial months of the pandemic.

These payments are part of the controversial financial practices of Juventus’ leadership, which is presently under investigation.

Ronaldo has requested relevant documents from the Turin prosecutor’s office and has opted to file a legal complaint against the club, adding further complexity to the management’s situation.

Just a few days ago, another former Juventus player, Leonardo Bonucci, also declared his intention to take legal action against the club, seeking compensation for not receiving mandatory training and preparation conditions.

In contrast, Paulo Dybala has chosen not to pursue legal action against Juventus after reaching an agreement with the club regarding the outstanding €3 million owed to him.
