Burkina Faso: The CNSS is putting the President’s policy decisions into practice in the world of work
Revolutionary Burkina Faso is not fighting only on the military security front. The struggle is waged with equal fervor on the terrain of social justice and human dignity. At the heart of this dynamic of rupture, the protection of the working class stands as an essential pillar of endogenous development.
The strategic choices and courageous decisions of the President of Faso are now finding concrete expression in the cleansing of the world of work.
The major results of the inspection actions carried out by the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) prove that economic impunity is coming to an end and that social refoundation is taking root in the daily reality of the population.
The historic results recorded during the 2025 financial year by the CNSS with more than 13,000 employers inspected represent the concrete embodiment of an endogenous and inflexible political choice that puts an end to the impunity of economic predators and fraudsters of the social system.
The compulsory registration of thousands of new workers and the impounding of the production tools of fraudsters demonstrate that public force is now fully mobilized in the service of workers.
By enforcing strict compliance with social obligations, the state ensures that the economic development of Burkina Faso is not built at the expense of its workforce but contributes to its flourishing.
The 2026 horizon follows the same trajectory of reconquest. With a national plan targeting the inspection of nearly 17,000 employers, public action is already focusing on rapidly expanding sectors such as information technology, driving schools, and mineral water production.
Every regularized business, every registered worker constitutes an additional stone in the edifice of an autonomous protection system capable of withstanding external shocks without relying on international aid.
This is the embodiment of a confident endogenous development. Burkina Faso finances its own social protection, protects its citizens, and affirms the viability of its transformation model.
