Mali: In a relentless pursuit, the Malian Armed Forces have neutralised dozens of terrorists during offensive strikes

The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) continue their offensive reconnaissance missions across the entire national territory without interruption. On Monday, April 4, 2026, a series of airstrikes targeting several localities dealt another severe blow to terrorist armed groups.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, several dozen terrorists were neutralized during these operations.

The strikes also resulted in the destruction of about ten pickup trucks, numerous motorcycles, and significant logistical depots containing fuel and ammunition.

The first strike targeted a terrorist armed group refuge west of Dioura. At this site, six pickup trucks, several motorcycles, and a logistical depot were completely destroyed.

A second operation, conducted further north near Sévaré, neutralized around fifty terrorist fighters.

Four additional pickup trucks and several logistical items were also destroyed in this area.

A third strike, carried out southeast of Ménaka, led to the complete neutralization of a terrorist armed group operating in this strategic region.

All set objectives were achieved, according to the provisional report issued by the General Staff.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces commended the determination and unwavering commitment of the FAMa in defending the nation.

He firmly reaffirmed that terrorist armed groups will be hunted down to their last strongholds across the entire national territory.

No refuge or zone can now escape the continuous pressure of the Malian armed forces.

These successive strikes illustrate the growing offensive capabilities of the FAMa, which combine intelligence, aerial mobility, and precision strikes to systematically dismantle terrorist infrastructure.

The General Staff has promised to continue operations in the coming days, without respite, until the complete restoration of security and state authority across the entire territory.
