AC Milan signs Christopher Nkunku in club-record deal
AC Milan has announced the permanent signing of French forward Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea FC. The 27-year-old has signed a long-term contract with the Serie A club until June 2030, making him the second-most expensive signing in their history, behind only Rafael Leão.
This move benefits all parties. After two injury-plagued and disappointing seasons at Chelsea, where he struggled for a starting role, Nkunku seeks a career revival. For Milan, the signing represents a major statement of intent following two underwhelming league campaigns.
Nkunku will now work under manager Massimiliano Allegri and can rely on his French international teammate Mike Maignan to help him settle in at his new club.
