As the transfer window nears its end, AC Milan is making a late push to secure the loan of Portuguese forward João Félix from Chelsea. The 25-year-old, struggling for playing time under Enzo Maresca, is eager to find a new challenge after a frustrating spell in London.

Arriving at Chelsea last summer for €52 million from Atlético Madrid, Félix has failed to establish himself as a key player.

Despite scoring seven goals and providing two assists in 20 appearances, he has accumulated just 947 minutes on the pitch, highlighting his limited role under Maresca.

According to Sky Italia, Milan has intensified negotiations with Chelsea to finalize the deal. The Italian club has reportedly secured Félix’s approval, as he seeks regular game time in a competitive environment.

However, Chelsea’s financial demands remain a stumbling block, with their stance on a paid loan fluctuating throughout discussions.

While AC Milan remains confident in closing the deal, competition from Premier League clubs could complicate matters.
