NBA: Bronny James shines in career-High Performance as Lakers dominate Wizards

Bronny James made a memorable impact in the Los Angeles Lakers’ emphatic 134-96 victory over the Washington Wizards, scoring a career-high five points in a game where he was embraced by the home crowd. The 20-year-old, son of Lakers icon LeBron James, entered in the fourth quarter to chants of his name and even received “MVP” shouts after sinking two late free throws.

 

Despite his limited minutes, Bronny contributed beyond scoring, adding two rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

 

Lakers coach JJ Redick praised the rookie’s composure under intense scrutiny, stating, “He has handled everything with dignity, grace, class, all that stuff. He’ll continue to grow.”

 

LeBron James, who exited late in the third quarter after delivering 24 points and 11 assists, witnessed his team secure their fifth win in six games, positioning them fifth in the Western Conference.

 

Elsewhere in the NBA, Anthony Edwards led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a dominant 138-113 win over the Utah Jazz with 36 points and 11 assists.

 

Meanwhile, Jaren Jackson Jr.’s clutch free throws sealed a narrow 120-119 victory for the Memphis Grizzlies over the Houston Rockets.
