Minister Mahamadou SANA: A Commitment to security and sovereignty

Mahamadou SANA, the Minister of Security, embodies the close-knit governance approach championed by President Captain Ibrahim Traoré, placing the people at the heart of his actions. Consistently present on the ground, his active involvement reflects a deep commitment to both national protection and sovereignty.

This hands-on approach fosters trust between the security forces and the citizens, strengthening national unity as the country faces complex security and strategic challenges.

During the monumental rally at Place des Nations, the Minister, alongside the Prime Minister and other government officials, reaffirmed the stance of the Sahel States Alliance (AES) leaders on withdrawing from ECOWAS.

This declaration, voiced through the people, underscores the Burkinabe authorities’ determination to seek more respectful partnerships that align with the nation’s sovereign aspirations.

Through his speech and actions, Minister SANA demonstrated that the AES’s policy of rupture is not merely a political decision but a reflection of the people’s deep desire for self-determination.

By remaining close to the people and steadfastly advocating for the sovereign path outlined by President Ibrahim Traoré, he represents governance that is committed to transparency, listening to its citizens, and defending the core interests of Burkina Faso.
