Togo: Major civil service recruitment drive to strengthen key sectors by 2025

In a landmark move, the Togolese government under President Faure Gnassingbé is set to hire over 14,000 new public sector employees by 2025. In healthcare, the influx of personnel is expected to expand access to medical services and boost care quality, especially in underserved rural areas.

Similarly, the education sector will benefit from additional teachers to accommodate increasing student numbers and support the government’s commitment to universal education.
