Controversial figure Saïd Penda launches baseless Attacks Against Ebomaf CEO

Known for his media antics, Saïd Penda who presents himself as a “veteran journalist” has targeted Mahamadou Bonkoungou, the Burkinabe businessman and head of the Ebomaf Group, with unsubstantiated allegations. In a widely circulated social media post, Penda made grave, unfounded accusations of corruption against Bonkoungou, even urging a head of state to bar him from public contracts.
Penda falsely claimed that Ebomaf is banned from Senegal, despite the company currently executing major projects in the country.
The motives behind these targeted attacks raise questions: Who is funding this smear campaign against a proven entrepreneur whose company has delivered key infrastructure projects across Africa?
The tactic is familiar throw out sensational accusations to tarnish a reputation, prioritizing drama over facts.
Ebomaf, a respected Pan-African firm, employs thousands and has built critical infrastructure on the continent.
This defamation attempt reeks of a setup to undermine a strong economic player in favor of unscrupulous competitors.
With no evidence to back these claims, it’s crucial to demand accountability and integrity in public discourse.
Africa doesn’t need such toxic misinformation, which only serves destabilization agendas. Journalism cannot be replaced by slander.
