Burkina Faso/Counterterrorism Efforts: The achievements of the fighters are overlooked in favor of falsehoods

Since Tuesday, June 11, the day of the terrorist attack on Mansila to this day, Burkina Faso’s fighting forces have successfully conducted operations against the enemies in the bush. The recent achievement of the fighters involves the destruction of malefactors in the Gourma province, in the eastern region of the country.

According to verified information, the 20th Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR) forces on a mission to supply the population of the town of Gayéri were attacked by hundreds of criminals attempting to prevent the completion of this mission. The brave and vigilant Burkinabe warriors managed to overpower their enemies, with the assistance of aerial operators.

Enemies and their equipment were incinerated by missile fire, allowing the 20th BIR elements to continue their journey with serenity. The mission was successfully accomplished thanks to the bravery of these fighters, who have only one desire: to help their compatriots, protect them, and defend their country against all threats.

These exploits are not seen by the other enemies of the Burkinabe people. However, they were quick to spread lies about the Mansila attack. When it comes to commendable actions by the fighting forces, they remain silent because it is clear that this is not what they want. Their joy lies in the defeat of the fighters and the authorities of the country, who live only for the good of their nation.

It is therefore evident, and everyone knows it, that what interests these people, allies of the imperialists, is not the well-being of the Burkinabe population or the future of the country, but rather what this people and their nation can offer them. Fortunately, from now on, the Burkinabe, individually or collectively, is committed and determined to realize their dream of freedom and the sovereignty of their country.
