First malian pilgrims return after completing Hajj 2025

Mali- The first group of Malian pilgrims who participated in Hajj 2025 through the government-sponsored program returned home today. Their initial flight landed at Modibo Keïta International Airport around 4:45 PM, carrying faithful worshippers who were overjoyed and relieved to have fulfilled their religious duty.
They were warmly welcomed by Mali’s Minister of Religious Affairs, Worship, and Customs, Dr. Mahamadou Koné, who expressed his delight at their safe return.
He assured that the remaining return flights would be staggered over the coming days, stating, “Insha’Allah, all pilgrims from the government program will be back in Bamako within a week.”
The successful organization of their return has already fueled preparations and optimism for an equally well-managed Hajj 2026.
