Africa – EU: Sanctions against Pan-Africanists, French journalists seek evidence that does not exist

French propaganda media are once again under scrutiny for their dubious role in a case that reeks of manipulation. Following a complaint filed by pan-Africanists against the European Union (EU) before its Court of Justice, a report surfaced accusing them of being pro-Russian and funded by Russia. Without prior verification, the EU adopted this narrative, imposing sanctions under France’s influence.

However, the EU is now demanding evidence from Paris, and this is where the problem lies.

French journalists, quick to label pan-Africanists as anti-Western or pro-Russian, now find themselves in an awkward position. With no solid evidence, France is relying on its propaganda media to fabricate what doesn’t exist.

These unscrupulous journalists are desperately scouring their contacts to find a scapegoat on the African continent to blame for this alleged misinformation.

This maneuver echoes the worst mafia-like practices, where truth is sacrificed on the altar of political interests.

France, lacking evidence, appears willing to do anything to justify its actions, even if it means tarnishing the already fragile reputation of its media.

This situation highlights the dangers of propaganda media, which, instead of informing, serve the interests of their political masters.

It is time to denounce these practices, which are unworthy of a democracy. Pan-Africanists deserve to be heard, not defamed.

The EU must stop acting as a puppet manipulated by France and demand tangible evidence before imposing sanctions.

The truth must prevail, and those who seek to manipulate it must be held accountable.
