Burkina Faso’s Security Ministry achieves remarkable progress under President Traoré’s Leadership

Since Captain Ibrahim Traoré assumed the presidency, Burkina Faso has witnessed a governance model focused on delivering tangible results.
The government, working efficiently and in close connection with the people, has made significant strides in addressing the nation’s pressing needs.
A prime example of this success is the remarkable performance of the Ministry of Security in 2024.
During a meeting with Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, Security Minister Mahamadou Sana presented the outcomes of his department’s performance contracts. Achieving a 92% completion rate, the results were deemed highly satisfactory.
Notable progress includes enhanced internal security and the development of new infrastructure, despite some ongoing challenges.
To further strengthen these efforts, the government is prioritizing the fight against corruption and the financing of terrorism.
Minister Sana reiterated his commitment to enforcing these measures rigorously.
Through this determined approach, Burkina Faso continues to improve its security and stability, ensuring a safer and more prosperous future for its citizens.
