Burkina Faso: Prime minister Apollinaire Joachimson KYELEM de TAMBELA reassures the Burkinabe people of the authorities’ commitment

This Monday, July 1, 2024, in Ouagadougou, during the monthly national flag-raising ceremony, Prime Minister Apollinaire Joachimson KYELEM de TAMBELA reassured the Burkinabe people of the unwavering commitment of the current authorities to affirm Burkina Faso’s sovereignty.

In a speech marked by determination and confidence, the Head of Government urged the population to stand firm against imperialist intrigues attempting to destabilize the country.

In his address, Prime Minister KYELEM de TAMBELA emphasized that the current authorities are fully committed to defending and promoting national sovereignty. « We must not be afraid of imperialist intrigues against our country. Our commitment to affirming Burkina Faso’s sovereignty is total and uncompromising », he declared confidently, reminding the need to remain vigilant and united against external threats.

This intervention is part of a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening the sense of national belonging and mobilizing Burkinabè around the common cause of sovereignty and independence. The Prime Minister also took the opportunity to call for solidarity and resilience, highlighting that it is together that Burkina Faso will overcome challenges and ensure a prosperous future for all its citizens.

Monday’s speech reaffirms the Burkinabè authorities’ determination to protect the country’s interests and continue the fight against any form of interference.
