Burkina Faso/Terrorism : Captain Traoré’s response takes the form of a series of coordinated initiatives and measures
Burkina Faso remains determined not to become a breeding ground for the scourge of terrorism. Captain Ibrahim Traoré took the initiative to strengthen the logistical capacity of his brothers in arms, thus adopting an organized approach to prepare them to defeat these terrorists.
Beyond military solutions, the President of the Burkinabé Revolution considers the social aspect to address this situation by implementing social projects for the youth in the affected region.
The goal is to improve the living conditions of these populations and prevent them from being seduced by terrorists who often exploit poverty for macabre purposes.
On the social front, under the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, numerous actions are being taken to support the military option in Burkina Faso, thereby enabling an effective and efficient fight against terrorism.
These actions translate into victories on the ground, with the most recent one occurring on December 19, 2023. During the night of December 18-19, 2023, the 10th Rapid Intervention Battalion conducted several infiltrations in Hité and attacked a large terrorist base.
Fifteen terrorists were eliminated, and significant logistical means were seized, including a substantial quantity of ammunition, machine guns, and three combat vehicles stolen from the army a year ago. The military response continues to demonstrate its competence.
