Burkina Faso: Fight against terrorism/Towards the acquisition of a fighter jet

The coordination of civil society organizations in Burkina Faso, which has always shown its support in various ways to the government of the transition, has again made a strong gesture. Hailing the resistance and bravery of the fighting forces against the attack of Djibo, the coordination announces the purchase of a fighter aircraft as a Christmas gift to the army.

This promise of coordination confirms its unwavering support to the SDF and VDP in their commitment to regain all the integrity of the national territory. Thus, this network of CSO launches an exceptional call for contributions by the end of December for the acquisition of this war equipment that will change the course of this war against terrorist groups.

To achieve this, the coordination calls on all social strata of the country to play their part to support the valiant army in its mission. This will help strengthen the war effort in the country. According to CSO Coordination Secretary General Ghislain Dabiré, «The fate of a new Burkina is currently in the hands of the people. With comrade President Captain Ibrahim Traoré and his entire team, victory is near and certain».
