Togo-Football/ Is Claude Leroy still tempted by the togolese dugout ?
Former Togo coach Claude Leroy wouldn’t say no to a possible return to lead the Togo national football team. In an interview on New World TV where he was a guest, he stated that anything is possible and he’s open to any possibility, although he believes his personal life could not allow him to do so.
«I’ve had offers to go elsewhere. Even then, I wanted to come back to certain countries. But given the state of my wife’s health, it wasn’t possible. I think in life, you should never say never», said the French technician.
Let’s note that the 75-year-old Claude Leroy was in charge of the national team from 2016 to 2021. He has a good awerness of African football, for having coached several national teams including Cameroon, Senegal, Ghana, and DR Congo.
