Ivory Coast : Alassane Ouattara’s rewards for the African Champions Elephants
Good news for the Ivory Coast coach Emerse Faé following the Elephants’ victory in the final of the 34th Africa Cup of Nations (CAN). Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara has offered him a grant of 100 million FCFA. The information comes from sources close to the Ivorian national team.
This is a well-deserved reward after he led the Elephants to the final victory, especially considering the difficult moments the team went through both in the group stage and during the knockout matches.
According to reports, President Alassane Ouattara, besides the 100 million, also provided 400 million for the technical staff of the Elephants, a villa worth 50 million, and a grant of 50 million for each player, as well as 300 million to the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF).
These are the rewards from the Ivorian president to the Elephants after winning the final 2-1 against Nigeria.
