Burkina Faso / Anti-Terrorism Fight : Fighters Still at Work to completely destroy the enemy
The combat forces of Burkina Faso continue their efforts, both in defense operations and in the reconquest of the entire national territory. Military actions are intensifying as planned for this year to completely annihilate the enemy and liberate the country.
Exploits were achieved this week in the regions of the East and North of the country. According to information from security sources relayed by AIB, the National Gendarmerie, supported by Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), neutralized several terrorists and recovered their equipment during the night of January 22 to 23.
This took place in Arbinda, a town located in the Soum province in the North of Burkina Faso. The criminals who had sinister plans against the locality ultimately fell into the trap set by the Burkinabe army, which successfully dealt with them, subsequently recovering significant materials. However, no losses were recorded on the side of the fighters.
In the East region, precisely between Tiasseri and Soam, surgical strikes targeting a pickup truck filled with terrorists and ammunition allowed the Burkinabe army to thwart their attack plan in the area. According to information, aerial assets detected a pickup truck filled with crates of weapons and ammunition in the East region on January 24, 2024.
The criminals and their equipment were annihilated, putting an end to their destructive plans and threats to the freedom and lives of the peaceful population of Burkina Faso.
