Burkina Faso: A New Chapter in Cooperation with Turkey, higher education in the Spotlight

Recently, Burkina Faso and Turkey formalized a cooperation agreement in the field of higher education and research. This agreement presents a significant opportunity for Burkinabe students holding a Master’s or Doctoral degree, providing them with the chance to join research programs at Turkish universities.

This collaboration will enable Burkinabe students to benefit from cutting-edge research and development in Turkey.

Currently, approximately 400 Burkinabe students are already enrolled in Turkish universities, opening new avenues for learning and expertise exchange.

Beyond the individual benefits for students, this initiative aims to foster close collaboration between the two countries to address common challenges.

The sharing of experiences between Turkish universities and Burkinabe academic institutions is expected to contribute to finding innovative solutions to the issues they face.
