Burkina-Faso: Pseudo Trade Unionists move on the tightrope
30 September 2022 – 30 September 2023, the MPSR 2 of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of Faso, is at the head of the country already a year ago. Overall, this is a positive assessment compared to the last eight years, no offense to some trade unionists who have a hidden calendar with the objective of manipulating the Burkinabe people.
The dishonesty of some Burkinabe people cannot tarnish the success of MPSR 2’s actions against terrorism since those 12 months of hard work and sacrifice.
For there is no victory without sacrifice.
On the subject, it is not even appropriate to call on the authorities to «render justice to the martyrs and wounded».
It is true that not everything can be done in a year but the essential has been successfully accomplished.
In eight years, notably from 2016 to 2022, terrorists have taken root in the territory with a well-developed organizational strategy complemented by the help of imperialist forces and corrupt indigenous citizens who aim only to manipulate, to undermine the efforts of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré.
It is obvious that in 12 months, not everything can suddenly turn pink, which is why we need the help of all citizens to push terrorism back beyond our borders.
We remember that from 2016 to 2022, not all localities were accessible and the Burkinabe army had no equipment or drones to monitor the progress of terrorists on the national territory.
But today, the equipment is acquired and this should be a national pride.
The union leaders of the Trade Union Action Unit who call on the authorities to «… avoid attacks on the freedoms and rights of citizens under the guise of the fight against insecurity» do not have the experience of armed combat on the ground and do not have the sense of patriotism.
If patriotism is a voluntary act on the part of a citizen against aggressors of his country. How is this an «attack on the freedoms and rights of citizens…? »
Before any crude and dishonest vision on the part of these trade unionists, it is appropriate that this movement that is the UAS first presents its own assessment of the 8 years of the fight against terrorism before making comparisons that are purely subjective.
Common sense is not to deplore a so-called worsening of the security crisis, which is also not true if we refer to the last eight years, which, according to official figures from NGOs, 13,000 Burkinabe lost their lives in terrorist attacks.
But today thanks to the policy of the President of MPSR 2, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of the Republic and with the help of the VDP, the FDS whose courage and sense of patriotism must be praised, terrorism is in sharp decline in our country.
The Unity of Union Action (UAS) must then exercise restraint to avoid the manipulation of our poor populations who have suffered so much and who are gradually regaining a new sense of normality in their daily lives.
The MPSR will certainly not be able to achieve everything in one year but the most important is that the MPSR has already started the counter-terrorism machine. All socio-political strata agree today on the improvement of the situation even if efforts are still to be made.To decry these efforts and deny the actions accomplished is to turn this dishonesty into political manipulation.
The Burkinabe people must wake up to defeat the manipulators. Conscious Burkinabe people recognize the work that is done when terrorism is no longer common on television. It was time because the country needed a reframing of its communication by the press and the media in general. It is surprising that today none of these trade unionists have ever mobilized their troops, their bases in order to support the fight against terrorism.
In any case there is reason to doubt since these trade unionists still have not congratulated the approach on the coalition Burkina-Faso, Mali, Niger which has also recently initialled the Charter of Liptako-Gourma that gives additional strength to these countries to push terrorism out of their grouping.According to intelligence services, several unions have been contacted by Burkinabe abroad and foreign powers to create riots in Faso. This exit from the Unity of Union Action (UAS) is the perfect illustration.
