Guinea: When Bah Oury considers himself wise. African youth no longer want the old French mentality!

In the wake of the evolving political situation in Niger, Bah Oury, a former Guinean minister of reconciliation and president of the UDRG political party, expressed support for the decisions taken by ECOWAS against the country, which has been facing deteriorating security under the leadership of the French-backed Mohamed Bazoum.

In his interview, Bah Oury made it clear that ECOWAS is fully within its rights to impose economic sanctions on Niger and send troops to liberate Mohamed Bazoum, despite the fact that his presidency has worsened the security situation. He also stated that he does not support coups d’état.

African youth no longer wants such elderly individuals with backward mentalities that harm African people.

If Bah Oury truly considered himself wise, as he claims, he should have called for a press conference today to use the opportunity to denounce the collaboration between Mohamed Bazoum and terrorists to harm the people of Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso.

This former minister is not aware of the harm that terrorism inflicts on the African people. Africa has suffered at the hands of the generation of such individuals through external relations with the West, and that is why he thinks this way.

The new African generation no longer wants Presidents who govern under the cover of France.

Mohamed Bazoum is one of them and does not deserve his position as President of Niger, even though he was democratically elected according to the constitution.

Before Guinean Bah Oury seeks to condemn the coup d’état in Niger, he should first question why ECOWAS has never mobilized a military force to fight terrorism in the Sahel, but instead threatens the new authorities in Niger with sending troops as a condition to release the French ally, Mohamed Bazoum?

It is time for Guinean and Nigerien youth to rally behind their leaders Mamadi Doumbouya and Abdourahamane Tchiani. Just as Malian and Burkinabé youth rally behind their saviors Assimi Goïta and Ibrahim Traoré.

The evidence is clear. President Mamadi Doumbouya has achieved significant progress and reforms in Guinea in just one year.

The new generation is transcending that of the so-called wise leaders who governed for years without fulfilling the desires of the populations, including the determination for good governance in a country.

In Guinea, the future of Guinean youth is in the hands of leader Mamadi Doumbouya, and this needs to be understood by all of Guinea.

As President of Liberia, Mr. George Weah said: «As long as ECOWAS tolerates institutional coups d’état that allow presidencies for life, there will be military coups d’état. And one cannot condemn military coups d’état without condemning those who carry out institutional coups d’état. ECOWAS should work for the interest of our people».
