The Burkinabe army led multiple strikes in the past 72 hours, which, according to security sources, resulted in the neutralization of terrorists who were planning to attack the city of Djibo.

Several groups of terrorists had gathered north of Djibo with the sinister intention of attacking the city. However, their plot was discovered thanks to intelligence services.

Aerial assets waited until the criminals reached their logistics before pulverizing them.

Surveillance means also tracked another terrorist group heading towards Belehede throughout the night until dawn, with the same deadly objective.

Airstrikes decimated them along with their equipment before they could take action.

Successful strikes also took place in various locations, including Tin Samane in the Sahel region and the Tiogo forest.

The Defense and Security Forces engaged in intense combat, resulting in the destruction of several terrorist hideouts.

Operations are ongoing in multiple theaters, according to the sources.
