Togo: Lomé and Yaoundé strengthen cooperation to attract African investment

Since Monday, September 22, 2025, Togo has been hosting a delegation from the Investment Promotion Agency of Cameroon (API-Cameroon). The visit will last until September 26th. This mission is part of a dynamic of regional economic cooperation, aimed at strengthening partnerships between the two countries and promoting private investment.
Discussions between the Cameroonian delegation, the Togolese Investment Promotion and Free Zone Agency (API-ZF), and several local business operators are focusing on the business climate, tax incentives, the investment code, and mechanisms put in place by the Togolese government, such as the One-Stop Digital Shop and the Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA).
Site visits are also planned, notably to the PIA, the Autonomous Port of Lomé, the company Jus Délice, and the Palais de Lomé.
This mission underscores Togo’s commitment to consolidating its economic attractiveness and promoting foreign direct investment through enhanced African cooperation.
