Football/ Côte d’Ivoire to host four 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in March 2025

The Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) has announced that Côte d’Ivoire will host four crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers in March 2025. The matches will take place at two iconic stadiums: the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan and the Alassane Ouattara Olympic Stadium in Ebimpé.

On March 24, Côte d’Ivoire will face Gambia at 7:00 PM GMT in Group F, followed by Benin taking on South Africa in Group C on March 25 at the same venue and time.

Earlier, on March 21, Guinea, currently based in Co, will play Somalia at 4:00 PM GMT in Group G. Gambia will also clash with Kenya on March 22 in Group F.

These fixtures highlight Côte d’Ivoire’s role as a key host nation for African qualifiers, providing a neutral ground for several teams.

Football fans can expect thrilling encounters as nations vie for a spot in the 2026 World Cup, co-hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
