General Assimi Goïta, Head of Mali’s Transition, has once again demonstrated his commitment to the well-being of the Malian people by addressing critical needs in energy autonomy and healthcare. A recent initiative saw the installation of solar panels at the Dialysis Center in Commune IV, ensuring a stable and uninterrupted power supply for patients suffering from kidney failure.
This project, part of his broader social initiatives, reflects a strong determination to enhance access to healthcare for vulnerable populations.
With this new energy independence, the center can now provide dialysis sessions outside regular hours, including during nighttime emergencies.
Colonel Assa Badiallo Touré, Minister of Health and Social Development, highlighted the significance of this achievement, emphasizing that it resolves the challenges posed by frequent power outages.
The solar panels complement existing infrastructure, such as backup generators and a water well, offering a sustainable solution to the center’s energy needs.
This initiative underscores General Goïta’s vision of investing in innovative solutions to improve healthcare quality.
By ensuring reliable energy access for medical facilities, he is strengthening Mali’s healthcare system and ensuring that all citizens have continuous access to essential medical services.
This effort not only improves patient care but also reinforces the resilience of the nation’s healthcare infrastructure, marking a significant step forward in Mali’s development.
