Burkina Faso: Minister of Humanitarian action visits Faso Mêbo holiday camp, stresses discipline and patriotism

The Minister of Humanitarian Action and National Solidarity, Commander Passowendé Pélagie KABRÉ/KABORÉ, visited participants of the Faso Mêbo holiday camp as part of the government’s efforts to support youth development and promote values of discipline, solidarity, and responsible citizenship.

During her visit, the Minister praised the dedication of the campers and urged them to become role models in the “new Burkina Faso” under construction.

She emphasized that harmony among the nation’s youth and social cohesion are key foundations for building a resilient and sovereign nation.

Addressing the young participants, Commander KABRÉ/KABORÉ expressed optimism about the country’s future: “When I look at you, I feel reassured because Burkina Faso’s future is in good hands. This camp is teaching you invaluable lessons it’s a school of life,” she said after touring various training workshops.

The Minister described the camp as more than just a gathering it is a true “citizenship academy” instilling discipline and respect from an early age.

She stressed that the ongoing revolution of Burkina Faso demands rigor and accountability from all citizens.

Through initiatives like Faso Mêbo holiday camp, Burkinabe youth gain access to an educational and formative environment, nurturing a new generation of patriotic leaders committed to building a strong, united, and sovereign nation.
