Burkina Faso: Captain Ibrahim Traoré paves the way for inclusion and autonomy

Under the leadership of President Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso has rolled out a set of social initiatives for 2024 aimed at improving living standards and creating job opportunities for the most vulnerable citizens.

This commitment reflects the President’s vision for a resilient, unified Burkina Faso, where every citizen – especially youth, women, and internally displaced people – can look toward a hopeful future.

The first phase of this plan, which ran from February to July 2024, created 1,000 temporary jobs, offering vital support to Burkinabe in need. Building on this momentum, the second phase was launched on November 7, 2024.

This phase, guided by Traoré’s focus on equality, will prioritize the country’s most vulnerable populations across five selected communities, ensuring that they play an integral role in the nation’s socioeconomic renewal.

Traoré’s approach stands out for its focus on inclusive and sustainable growth, addressing immediate social needs while laying a foundation for long-term development.

Through these efforts, the Burkinabe government is actively working to reduce inequalities and strengthen social bonds, firmly establishing Burkina Faso on a path toward shared prosperity and dignity for all under the forward-thinking leadership of President Traoré.
