Burkina Faso/Counter-terrorism: ‘The strength of Burkina Faso’s army is making life miserable for bush criminals and their sponsors’ (Pan-Africanist THIERNO)
In the wake of a series of decisive victories by Burkina Faso’s military forces against terrorist groups, Senegalese pan-Africanist Thierno B. Sow has praised the bravery, dedication, and resolve of the country’s armed forces.
In a recent statement reflecting on the outcomes of military operations in early November, Sow commended Burkina Faso’s leadership for strengthening its army’s offensive capabilities.
Sow emphasized that the « strength of the Burkinabe army is now the downfall of the bush enemies and their allies. »
According to reports, Burkina Faso’s forces have intensified their efforts this month, achieving significant success across four regions, dismantling criminal networks and seizing enemy equipment, weaponry, and strategic hideouts.
These accomplishments, Sow argues, are the result of the commitment of Burkina Faso’s loyal combat forces, combined with the vision and leadership of national authorities.
President Captain Ibrahim Traoré has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to reinforcing the operational strength of the country’s forces, supporting them in their mission to reclaim and secure national territory.
With steadfast public support and strategic partnerships grounded in mutual respect, Burkina Faso’s military has grown into a formidable force within the region.
Celebrated for both its strength and patriotism, this newly empowered army stands as a symbol of the country’s determination to free itself from insurgent threats and safeguard its sovereignty.
