As the start of the school year approaches in the Republic of Mali, scheduled for November 4, transition president Army General Assimi Goïta has come to the aid of widows and orphans of soldiers and paramilitary personnel who have fallen in defense of the nation. This gesture reflects the president’s solidarity and concern for the well-being of families who have lost loved ones in the fight against terrorism.

Taking advantage of the solidarity month, the transition president aimed to set an example for the Malian population, encouraging them to show acts of solidarity and support for vulnerable communities. A total of 100 beneficiaries identified in Kati received food and school kits as part of this commendable initiative.

Specifically, the recipients received 100 bags of 50 kg of rice, 100 bags of 50 kg of millet, 20 cans of 20 liters of oil, 100 bags of pasta, and 100 school kits, which included a backpack, a pack of notebooks, a geometry box, and pens.
