AES unveils Confederation Anthem “La Confédérale” to President Traoré

Following its presentation in Bamako, the culture ministers of the Sahel States Confederation (AES) arrived in Ouagadougou to present their newly adopted anthem, “La Confédérale,” to Burkina Faso’s President, Captain Ibrahim Traoré. Led by Mali’s Culture Minister Mamou Daffé, the delegation sought the Burkinabe leader’s approval of the anthem, a powerful symbol of unity between Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger.

More than just a song, “La Confédérale” embodies the spirit of an alliance striving for sovereignty, dignity, and a shared future.

With poetic and solemn tones, it celebrates the struggles, hopes, and common values of the Sahelian peoples.

Designed as a key identity pillar alongside the AES flag and logo, the anthem marks a crucial step in the Confederation’s symbolic foundation.

Soon, it will be introduced in schools and performed by national bands to instill this unifying spirit in the hearts and minds of the AES populations.

Through “La Confédérale,” the AES reaffirms its commitment to fostering collective consciousness and rallying all generations around a common ideal.

The anthem will now resonate as a song of resilience and renewal for Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger ushering in a new chapter in the Sahel’s shared history.
