Liga / Real Madrid: PSG’s revenge plan following Mbappé’s departure

Following Kylian Mbappé’s planned departure to Real Madrid, PSG is looking to exact some revenge. The Lille prodigy, Leny Yoro, is one of the most admired talents in European football and is considered one of the best defenders in Ligue 1 at just 18 years old. His future is promising, and he will attract significant interest this summer.

With his contract expiring in 2025 and no sign of renewal, Lille seems ready to sell Yoro this summer but is asking for 60 million euros. Real Madrid has identified Yoro as one of the best opportunities on the market after months of scouting and will look to recruit him this summer, but they do not intend to overspend. Their limit is set at 40 million euros.

Liverpool is also interested, but Paris Saint-Germain is their main competitor. The French champions made an offer in January, which was rejected, and Lille would prefer to sell Yoro outside of France. According to Diario AS, PSG is ready to increase the pressure, and sporting director Luis Campos will intensify negotiations in the coming days.

PSG might be prepared to offer the required amount, and although Yoro’s priority is to sign for Real Madrid, PSG will do everything possible to convince him. Unless the Blancos reach an agreement with Lille, Yoro, who wishes to make a move this year, might see PSG as his only option.

Nacho Fernandez will leave Real Madrid this summer, and Rafa Marin is expected to return from his loan at Alaves to take his place in the Santiago Bernabéu squad. However, Yoro is considered a unique talent in Europe right now, and even though Real Madrid is known for signing the best young talents in world football, the deal may depend on Lille’s willingness to negotiate.
