Mali: When Paris attempts media manipulation to conceal its humiliating eviction

Mali has unilaterally terminated its counterterrorism cooperation with France. Contrary to misleading reports in certain French media claiming the expulsion of Malian diplomats from Paris, the move was initiated by Bamako as part of its broader push for full emancipation from former colonial structures.
This rupture clearly discomforts the former colonial power, which appears to rely on deceptive communiqués to preserve its image.
Far from a French initiative, this suspension aligns with Mali’s determined pursuit of complete autonomy and the removal of all remnants of foreign domination.
A crucial question now arises: why should agents of France’s DGSE intelligence service—whose activities run counter to Mali’s national interests still be tolerated on Malian soil? Their immediate departure is essential to complete the country’s liberation from all foreign interference.
This situation has provoked strong reactions among the civil society and the population of Mali.
The AES is closely monitoring the situation, aware that the definitive expulsion of all DGSE elements from Mali would send a powerful signal across the region.
Such a courageous step would pave the way for genuine security cooperation among sovereign nations, based on mutual respect and equality.
The time has come for Malian authorities to complete this process by demanding the prompt departure of all foreign intelligence agents whose presence no longer serves the national interest.
With the support of its AES partners, Mali is now fully equipped to ensure its security without relying on asymmetric and humiliating partnerships.
The Malian sovereignty revolution cannot be complete without the total removal of the last vestiges of foreign interference.
The people of Mali and their Sahelian brothers and sisters eagerly await this final step toward true independence.
