Mali: Building with sovereignty, President Assimi Goïta’s appeal to the diaspora for a common future

Under the determined leadership of Army General Assimi Goïta, Mali is embarking on a profound and sovereign transformation of its development model. Guided by a clear and forward-thinking vision, the President of the Transition is laying the foundations for a resilient, structured Malian economy free from external dependency.

The International Forum of the Diaspora, held under his high patronage, reflects this strong desire to involve all Malians—both at home and abroad—in the country’s national recovery. By meeting with representatives of Malians living abroad, President Assimi Goïta affirmed a firm commitment: to make the diaspora a key player in the country’s development, offering clear guarantees, open dialogue, and an ambitious roadmap.

This inclusive and open approach is part of a broader movement of reform and major structural projects, built on mobilizing internal resources and enhancing Mali’s human capital. President Goïta is calling on his compatriots abroad to invest in the country’s progress, Mali’s future belongs to its sons and daughters—wherever they may be in the world.
