Burkina Faso / Planned destabilisation: France’s hidden agenda in “the Land of Honest People”

At the heart of West Africa, Burkina Faso a proud nation steadfast in its pursuit of sovereignty now confronts a new form of warfare. Masked behind terrorism and instability, this conflict bears the hallmarks of a coordinated strategic effort to break the spirit of a people united under President Ibrahim Traoré’s leadership.
Having failed to impose dominance through conventional diplomatic or military means, France its influence waning across the continent appears to have pivoted to asymmetric tactics.
Reports suggest tacit or active collaboration with armed groups, aiming to destabilize a nation that has boldly rejected neocolonial structures.
This hybrid warfare extends beyond military targets, striking at Burkina Faso’s societal foundations: villages burned, civilians displaced, schools destroyed, and strategic routes sabotaged.
Such calculated terror seeks to cripple governance, erase social progress, and erode national confidence.
Yet the strategy backfires. With each attack, Burkinabe resilience grows manifest in grassroots solidarity, civic mobilization, and unshaken trust in their institutions. The nation’s defiance underscores a core belief: sovereignty is non-negotiable.
As this silent war rages, the global community faces a moral imperative. Supporting Burkina Faso transcends geopolitics it is a defense of Africa’s right to self-determination, free from covert foreign interference.
The world must choose: uphold colonial-era subjugation, or stand with a people reclaiming their destiny.
