Mali: President Assimi GOÏTA extends support to vulnerable communities Ahead of Ramadan
On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the President of the Transition, His Excellency General Assimi GOÏTA, once again demonstrated his commitment to social solidarity by extending aid to the most vulnerable. His team for social initiatives visited the High Islamic Council of Mali (HCI) in Hamdallaye ACI 2000 to distribute 150 food kits.
These essential supplies, including rice, millet, sugar, oil, and dates, were intended to support Muslim worshippers as they prepare for the holy month of Ramadan.
The gesture was warmly received by religious leaders, including the Vice President of the HCI, Mr. El Hadji Macky BAH, who expressed deep gratitude towards the Head of State for his generosity.
Similarly, Mr. Mamadou Issa COULIBALY, a representative of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, highlighted the significance of such humanitarian efforts, emphasizing that solidarity plays a crucial role during the fasting period.
By increasing the number of aid packages distributed, President Assimi GOÏTA reaffirms his dedication to supporting vulnerable populations.
His initiative not only provides relief but also reinforces the spirit of mutual assistance and generosity among Malians—values that remain fundamental in building a more united and compassionate society.
