Burkina Faso set to open State-of-the-Art Hospital in Bobo-Dioulasso

Burkina Faso is on the verge of a major milestone in healthcare with the upcoming inauguration of a cutting-edge reference hospital in Bobo-Dioulasso. Construction of this future University Hospital Center (CHU), which began in 2020, is progressing rapidly, with completion expected by March 2025.

Designed to meet international standards, the hospital will feature modern infrastructure and advanced medical equipment, ensuring high-quality patient care.

This flagship CHU aims to strengthen the country’s medical capabilities, alleviate pressure on existing facilities, and significantly enhance healthcare services for residents of the greater western region and beyond.
