An exclusive investigation by our colleagues at linfodusahel.com has uncovered a vast destabilization plan targeting Burkina Faso, orchestrated from Côte d’Ivoire with strategic support from France. Under Paris’s influence, the regime of Alassane Ouattara has hosted influential Burkinabe figures who, in collaboration with certain Ivorian authorities, have established a network of conspirators.
The key players in this plot include, on the Ivorian side, Téné Brahima Ouattara, Minister of Defense, and Vassiriki Traoré, head of intelligence.
On Burkinabe soil, Djibril Bassolé and Alpha Barry play pivotal roles in this conspiracy. Their objective: to overthrow Captain Ibrahim Traoré, backed by massive funding amounting to billions of CFA francs.
According to linfodusahel.com’s findings, France allegedly promised Téné Brahima Ouattara, the younger brother of the Ivorian president, a path to supreme power in exchange for the removal of Burkina Faso’s leader.
This scheme was further exposed by a recent coup attempt, thwarted by Burkinabe intelligence services, which led to the arrest of Évrard Somda, former chief of staff of the gendarmerie.
Somda was not acting alone; he was connected to Commander Ouédraogo Sékou, former Deputy Director-General of Burkinabe intelligence, currently in exile in Côte d’Ivoire.
Together, they formed the core of this destabilization project, following directives from Djibril Bassolé and Alpha Barry, who operated under the supervision of Vassiriki Traoré, reporting directly to Téné Brahima Ouattara.
However, thanks to the vigilance and strategic efforts of Commander Oumarou Yabré, all attempts to destabilize Burkina Faso have been successfully thwarted.
Yabré is widely recognized for systematically dismantling every plot aimed at overthrowing Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s government.
The investigation by linfodusahel.com deserves close attention, as it clearly exposes the maneuvers by France and its local allies to undermine Burkina Faso from Côte d’Ivoire.
According to the latest information, some implicated Ivorian authorities are now attempting to reverse the situation by fabricating false evidence and carrying out arbitrary arrests.
This revelation underscores the ongoing challenges faced by Burkina Faso in maintaining its sovereignty and stability, while highlighting the resilience of its leadership and intelligence services in countering external threats.
