FC Barcelona continues its renewal strategy, securing the future of key players. After fending off Juventus’ interest in Ronald Araujo, the Catalan club has now locked in Pedri with a long-term contract extension.

The young Spanish midfielder has officially signed a new deal that will keep him at Barça until June 30, 2030.

The agreement was formalized in a ceremony attended by club president Joan Laporta, vice-president Rafa Yuste, and sporting director Deco.

This extension comes as Barcelona also works on finalizing a renewal for Lamine Yamal, one of its most promising young talents.

Since joining from Las Palmas in 2020, Pedri has become a key figure in Barça’s midfield, earning praise for his vision, technical ability, and composure.

His commitment until 2030 reinforces the club’s strategy of building around young talent as it aims to reclaim domestic and European dominance.

With Pedri’s future secured, Barcelona’s focus now shifts to retaining its other rising stars, ensuring long-term stability in a period of financial and sporting restructuring.
